Dr. John Hodges brings more than 30 years of experience to the Lacey Smiles team. He’s placed and restored over 7,500 dental implants—including 750 full-arch cases—and is internationally recognized for his expertise in implant dentistry and full-arch prosthetics.

But Dr. Hodges offers more than implant care. He provides a full range of general dental services, from routine checkups and cleanings to crowns, fillings, and cosmetic dentistry. His goal is always the same: to deliver personalized, high-quality care in a way that helps each patient feel comfortable and understood.

Education & Advanced Training

Dr. Hodges earned his dental degree from the University of Southern California. He served in the U.S. Naval Dental Corps, where he completed a prosthodontic rotation at Pearl Harbor and was honored to serve on the military’s MIA identification team.

He has completed more than 1,000 hours of continuing education focused on implants and full-arch restoration. He is a Fellow of the California Implant Institute and a Nobel Biocare CAD-certified technician. Dr. Hodges also shares his knowledge with other professionals, lecturing nationally and internationally, and has been voted a “Top Dentist” multiple times by his peers in Seattle Metropolitan magazine.
